WISDOM® 2021 SPRING / SUMMER COLLECTION
LOOKBOOK

A firm believer in rational and pragmatic design, WISDOM® sets out to explore the possibilities of near-future functional wear. Since the outbreak of a global pandemic last year gravely affected the lives of all humanity on earth, we have come to realize a need to hit pause. As we reexamine the land and environment we grew up and dwell in, and the impact of our daily consumption and waste generation, what improvements can we make as an apparel brand?

 

In R&D, WISDOM® started collaborating with green fabric manufacturers with the eco-label years ago. This year, we have also adopted “single crushed materials” multiple times to seek innovation in fabrics. Our early products were made with eco-friendly recycled fabrics with fewer pollutants as well. Meanwhile, we also use biodegradable supporting materials in our designs. The dual strategies for this season are to reduce the use of cotton and increase the use of synthetic fiber to reduce pesticide pollution resulting from cotton farming. In addition, synthetic fiber has better sustainability as it is not only more endurable than cotton and but highly recyclable.

 

Remained committed to creating appropriate clothing for metropolitan travelers, we introduce burden-free cutting for agility, as well as properties adhering to varying environment and weather conditions. Lightweight, breathable, water-repellent, and wind-resistant properties are among the top consideration for the design of the Spring and Summer season. In addition to the basic black and white, the dominant colors for the new collection are blue, green, grey, khaki. The collection features a visually harmonized futuristic metallic glow (WMA), the natural feel of Oxford weave (recycled interwoven organic cotton), and other lines also in loose-cut design for comfort. The SHINCOOL® T-Shirt line boasting the cotton touch created using fleece techniques, the Tech Denim line, and the lightweight sun-protective twill line all feature clear-cut simplicity added with appropriate storage spaces. Buckles of established manufacturers (NIFCO®, FIDLOCK®, YKK®) corresponding to specific designs are also crucial elements for the completion of this collection. Based on the brand’s perspectives, the launch of this new season is also a proposal of our expectations for an answer to the environment through timely designs.
